Malecon
An only lime stone rockwall, by the sea. It makes for amazing shots with the waves crashing against it as the sun goes down. It’s also full of life, being a popular hangout place. This is a must when you are visiting. If you want to relax and hang with the locals or get the best photos, El Malecon is a Must.
Hotel Nacional
The Hotel Nacional de Cuba was declared a National Monument and it was inscribed in the World Memory Register. With its privileged location in the middle of Vedado, the center of Havana, it stands on a hill just a few meters from the sea, and offers a great view of the Havana Harbor; the seawall and the city.
Focsa Building
At 121 m tall, this is the tallest building in Havana. Situated in Vedado, it gives you great views from the restaurant on the top floor. Perfect for sunset shots.
El Morro
This place has the best views of Havana period. This is an excellent place to come for Sunset or even sunrise. You get great elements… the city view or the lighthouse – depends on where you are shooting from, the water and the sunset.
El Christo de la Habana
It’s the tallest vantage point in Havana with views all round, cannot go wrong. Looking down, one can watch ships roll in through the mouth of Havana Bay and pick out several neighborhoods across the water below, including Old Havana and the entire stretch of the five-mile sea wall on the city’s northern border.
