Detailed Description

Escape to the mountains and immerse yourself in the beauty of Las Terrazas – an authentic eco-resort nestled in the heart of the Artemisa province. Built around a picturesque creek and designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, this small community boasts a preserved coffee plantation, Cafetal Buenavista, where you can experience the original tajona grinding process and visit old slave quarters. But the adventure doesn’t end there.

Only 85km from Havana lies Soroa, a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Take a moment to wonder down to the Soroa waterfall, Salto de Soroa, a uniquely shaped waterfall that measures 22.95 metres. Hike up this majestic falls, surrounded by large trees for spectacular views, or take a dip in the cool waters of the natural swimming pools. You can also visit the Mirador de Venus, a lookout that has spectacular views of the valley.

After exploring the waterfall, enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch at a local paladar. Then, discover the Soroa orchid garden – an enchanting oasis home to over 6,000 ornamental plants, including 700 species with 250 native to Cuba.

This tour is tailor-made for nature lovers who wish to breathe some fresh mountain air and revitalize their souls. Book now to recharge your batteries and discover Cuba’s best-kept secret.
